Review your bank accounts and bank savings portfolio regularly.  You may find your portfolio needs to be rebalanced with a somewhat different asset distribution approach.  Gather current information on inflation and the general level of interest rates, consider this data with what investments you currently hold as well as what the best bank rates that are available in the financial marketplace.  Then you can make a well informed, final decision.  Don’t let someone sway you towards an investment that only sounds good regardless of what credential they may have. Make sure the research is there to back up the investment idea.  Look at all investment vehicles including funds in or that may be allocated to a savings account, money market account or bank CD.
