TD Simple Checking Account

This checking account is marketed as the bank’s base checking account.  The checking account offers standard features available in the current marketplace such as standard check writing, TD ATM access, online and mobile banking, direct deposit and a debit card.  There is no minimum balance requirement for the account but there is a required monthly maintenance fee.  The checking account fee is $3.99 which can be reduced to $2.99 for account holders that choose the online statements option.

TD Convenience Checking Account

The Convenience checking account from TD Bank is nearly identical to the Simple account however; account holders have the option of having no monthly maintenance fee if they hold a minimum daily balance of $100.00 in the checking account.  If the minimum balance is not met, the monthly fee is $15.00.  The account also comes with standard check writing, TD ATM access, online and mobile banking, direct deposit and a debit card.

TD 60 Plus Checking Account

This checking account is designed for bank customers that are 60 years of age or older.  The checking account is an interest bearing account.  There is a monthly fee of $10.00 that is waived if the account holder has a minimum daily balance of $250.00.  The account has all the features of the other two TD Bank checking accounts plus free standard checks or discounts on other styles, discount pricing on safe deposit boxes, free money orders and official bank checks.

TD Student Checking Account

The student checking account is set up for consumers that are 18 years of age and older that are currently enrolled as full-time students.  The checking account works well for students since it has no monthly maintenance fee or minimum daily balance requirement.  The account also offers the refund of one overdraft fee per academic year.  Checking account holders can also get a free savings account and set up automatic sweep to the savings account or a money market account.

TD Premier Checking Account

The Premier account is an interest bearing checking account that earns interest on a tiered balance schedule, interest rates increase with account balances.  The account has a monthly maintenance fee of $25.00 that is waived for account holder that have a daily balance of at least $2,500.00.  Account holders not only do not pay ATM fees on TD Bank ATMs but non-TD fees are reimbursed when the minimum daily balance is at least $2500.00.  The first order of standard checks is free or the account holder can receive discounts on select check styles.  Premier accounts also have access to free money orders, official bank checks, stop payments, incoming wire transfers and check images on paper statements.

TD Relationship Checking Account

The relationship checking account marketed by TD Bank is the top tier account for obtaining the greatest level of benefits and interest rates.  This checking account requires a combined minimum daily balance of $20,000.00 in order to waive the $25.00 monthly maintenance fee.  Non TD Bank ATM fees reimbursed when minimum daily balance is at least $2500.00.  Relationship checking account holders will receive a discount on safe deposit boxes, free standard checks or discounts on other check styles, free money orders, official bank checks, stop payments, incoming wire transfers and check images on paper statements.  Automatic sweep to a savings or money market account is available.  The bank offers fee waivers on savings accounts and one additional checking account.  Account holders can receive combined statement for all accounts.
