SunTrust Bank Student Checking Account

The SunTrust Bank student checking account is an account for college students. This is a free checking account with no monthly maintenance fees and no minimum balance requirement. SunTrust Bank does not require direct deposit with the account. This checking account allows the account holder two free non-SunTrust ATM transactions per statement period. Student checking account holders also receive free SunTrust Bank online banking with 24 hour access to your accounts, online banking pay services, free mobile banking access and a free SunTrust MasterCard® check card.

SunTrust Bank Solid Choice Checking

The SunTrust Bank Solid Choice Checking account is an interest earning checking account that is designed to be linked with other savings account options with the bank. The checking account has no monthly service fee for account holders that hold $5,000.00 or more in the Solid Choice Checking or $15,000 in other linked checking accounts, savings accounts, money markets, bank CDs and bank IRAs. This account allows up to 4 free non-SunTrust Bank ATM transactions per statement cycle. The checking account also provides account holders access to premium interest rates on SunTrust Bank deposits and loans as well as other free or discounted banking services. There is a $100.00 minimum deposit required to open this bank checking account.

SunTrust Bank Signature Advantage Checking Account

The SunTrust Bank Signature Advantage Checking account is the bank’s premium interest earning checking account. This SunTrust Bank checking account allows unlimited refunds for ATM fees charged by other banks for using their ATM machines. Account holders are offered interest rate reductions on other SunTrust Bank consumer installment loans, home equity lines of credit and home equity loans. Checking account holders will have 3 insufficient funds bank fees waived per rolling 12 months. The account provides Free Premium checks or $24.95 discount on other styles. There is no annual fee SunTrust Credit Card with SunTrust Rewards if you hold this account. The SunTrust Bank Signature Advantage Checking account also offers additional premium services through the bank.

This SunTrust Bank account has a $25.00 monthly maintenance fee or this charge will be waived for customers that hold a $25,000.00 checking balance or have $50,000.00 in total statement linked deposit accounts or investment balances or the account holder has $250,000.00 total relationship balances between linked deposit accounts, investment accounts and bank loans. There is a $100.00 minimum deposit required to open this bank checking account.
