The bank also engages in a full range of commercial and consumer lending activities. Inland Northwest Bank primarily originates commercial real estate secured loans, which include loans secured by nonresidential property and loans on developed and undeveloped land. Additional lending activities includes the origination of commercial loans not secured by real estate, one to four family and multifamily residential mortgage loans and other consumer loans. Other services offered by the bank depositors include: cash management services, wire transfers, ACH origination, merchant bankcard services, electronic bill payment, Internet banking, commercial remote deposit capture, ATM and debit cards, safe deposit boxes, and overdraft protection.

Inland Northwest Bank was established in 1989 and has been FDIC insured since that time. The deposits of the bank are insured up to prescribed limits for each depositor by the FDICs Deposit Insurance Fund. The bank is a state chartered bank that is not a member of the Federal Reserve. Therefore the primary federal regulator is the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The bank is subject to supervision, regulation and examination by the Divisions of Banking of the States of Washington and Idaho and by the FDIC. Northwest Bancorporation, Inc. is the parent company of Inland Northwest Bank. Northwest Bancorporation, Inc. is a publicly traded company, trading under the symbol NBCT.
