Certificate of deposit rates in Indiana remained unchanged for the best rates however, the averages dropped for each term as the spread in the list of the highest rates widened.  With the exception of an odd term CD in the six month CD rate category, all of the best bank CD rates in Indiana re now falling behind the best national CD rates available.

The best six month CD rate remained steady with an extended term CD from United Community Bank that has an interest rate of 2.25%.  The next best CD rate is also on an extended term with the nine month CD of Centier Bank that has a rate of 2.00%.  The highest CD rates in the one year CD term follow this same line.  The best one year CD rate is an 18 month CD promoted by Peoples Trust and Savings Bank that yields 2.59%.  Following this rate is a 15 month CD from FCN bank that has an interest rate of 2.50%.

In the two year CD and five year CD terms the top rates are also unchanged with Shelby County Bank leading both categories.  Shelby offers a 30 month CD that has an interest rate of 2.85% as well as a five year CD rate of 3.60%.  In the two year CD rate category, the next best bank rate can be found at United Community Bank on their 20 month CD that yields 2.75%.  With the five year CD rate category the runners up include Ameriana Bank, United Community Bank and US Bank, which all offer five year CDs at 3.50%.
