Banco Popular is currently offering a checking account promotion that rewards new checking account holders up to a $125.00 bonus for performing select activities with the account.
New Banco Popular checking account holders can sign up to three features with the new account and receive a bonus for each feature they choose. With the checking account promotion, account holders will receive a bonus of $50.00 for signing up for online banking bill pay services, an additional $50.00 will be earned for establishing a direct deposit into the new checking account and finally, the bank bonus provides $25.00 for opening the new account and returning the debit card an unused checks from another bank.
By selecting and completing all three activities, consumers that open a new personal checking account with Banco Popular will receive the maximum $125.00 bank bonus.
Banco Popular lists four different bank checking accounts that are available for consumers. Each of these checking accounts are available with the $125.00 account bonus promotion. All new checking account holder will also receive a bonus gift from the bank to go with this current checking account promotion. There is a limit of one gift per new account.
The terms and conditions for this checking account promotion as presented by Banco Popular read as follows: Bring in your debit card and unused checks from another financial institution and we’ll pay you up to $25. The first ACH direct deposit of $100 or more must be received within 60 days of account opening to receive the $50 cash payment. However, you may have up to an additional 1–46 day grace period beyond such initial 60 day period for the first ACH deposit of $100 or more to be deposited to your account. The duration of such grace period, if any, is dependent upon the day in the calendar month in which you open your account. The first bill must be paid by Bill Pay service within 60 days of account opening to receive the $50 cash payment. The cash payments for direct deposit and Bill Pay are limited to one payment per household, are subject to IRS form 1099-INT, and will be credited to your checking account within 60 days after all conditions have been met.
